Carol Greenberg Brooks serves as President of Continental Real Estate Companies (CREC), one of Florida’s largest independent full-service commercial real estate services firms. She has led the firm along with co-founder Warren Weiser since its inception in 1989.
Today, with her focus on disciplined business services diversification and strategic growth, CREC oversees a leasing and management portfolio comprised of 11.4 million square-feet of retail, office and multifamily products across Florida.

As a principal and president, Carol’s expertise is applied in advisement and advancement of growth objectives and opportunities – far- and near-term, as market conditions dictate. Responsible for the recruitment of top-tier talent, her adept development and oversight of senior management teams across CREC’s business units – property management & services, accounting, human resources and marketing – have been an integral facet in CREC’s balanced expansion and growth.
Additionally, Carol engages in the strategic development and direction of communications programs impacting property value enhancement, personnel management, and related areas of marketing for client-managed properties and CREC corporately, inclusive of branding, positioning, promotion and public relations.
Beyond her management responsibilities at CREC, Carol has developed and launched a number of innovative business and community-focused initiatives. A passionate yoga and wellness practitioner, she implemented and maintains a workplace wellness program, A Deeper Breath. The program, in partnership with CREC’s clients, provides and facilitates health and wellness courses for their employees offered within their buildings.
Carol’s history of engaged community involvement has included membership in the International Women’s Forum and a seat on the United Way of Miami-Dade County Board of Directors. Additionally she served as a founding chairwoman of “Friends for Sylvester,” a fundraising arm of the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, also sitting on the Center’s board of governors.
Ms. Brook’s earned her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Miami.
