A Partner with CREC, Mr. Hurwitz leads the firm’s office leasing practice, currently representing nearly two million square feet of office space throughout South Florida. Mr. Hurwitz handles both landlord and tenant representation, and plays a key role in new business development. He has worked with some of the largest institutional, private equity and local firms such as Deutsche Bank, KBS Realty Advisors, LNR Property Corporation, GE, Bank of America, ProMed/Gazit, Viacom Realty, the Miami Herald and General Growth Properties.

Prior to joining CREC, Mr. Hurwitz supervised development and construction projects at Codina Group as a construction project manager, responsible for nearly $60 million in projects.
Mr. Hurwitz received a BA from the University of Wisconsin (Madison, Wisconsin) and earned an MBA at Florida International University (Miami, Florida). He is a licensed Florida Real Estate Broker. Mr. Hurwitz serves as Vice Chairman of the Urban Land Institute’s Southeast Caribbean District Council, Board Member of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and Downtown Miami Partnership and Chairman of the Town of Bay Harbor Islands Planning and Zoning Board. He is a graduate of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Miami program and recipient of the Sandra C. Goldstein Young Leadership Award from the Greater Miami Jewish Federation.
